Benjamin 2024 X6
Benjamin Sauvignon Blanc – We tied our branding to our family members characterizing the wine to give it more of a life and story to celebrate life’s blessings. Our Sauvignon Blanc is named after Daniel Naudé’s son Benjamin, and first grandchild of Frikkie Naudé.
Benjamin is a very easy and balanced white cultivar wine. The wine was made in a reductive style to retain the fresh; fruity flavours of the grapes. It was kept on the vine for less than 4 months to create a more complex and balance taste.
Perfectly enjoyed at a cold temperature and paired wonderfully with chicken, fish or salad dishes. Ideal for summer months or cheese fondues.

The wine was made in a reductive style to retain the fresh; fruity flavours of the grapes. It was kept on the fine lees for 4 months for complexity and balance.
To obtain a certain style of wine for our new Sauvignon Blanc, we selected a specific vineyard in Stellenbosch that produced
more tropical flavours and less green aromas. The vines are 18 years old and the canopy was opened to give more thiols and fewer pyrazines. The yield was restricted to 8ton/ha.
